A fantastic gig last month, and we’re ramping up the 2015 laughs even more in March, with a tremendous line-up, featuring…

Phil Nichol

An acclaimed actor, award winning comedian, producer, presenter, writer and musician, Phil is an energetic and exciting performer with an unquenchable thirst to break boundaries and innovate with his work. With a surreal edge to some of his mischievous rantings, Nichol always brings something new to the stage, his keen sense of fun and eye for the shocking and absurd has cemented his position as one of the best comedians on the circuit today. A winner of the Scotsman Fringe First Award, the Edinburgh award, and Time Out Best Comedy Performer, with numerous nominations and sell-out shows under his belt.

“Like spending an hour in a comedy jacuzzi”The Scotsman

“Outstandingly powerful and funny”The Stage

With top-notch support from…

Fern Brady

A former comedy reviewer, Fern first tried stand up after the magazine she worked for suggested she write an article where she “faked it” as a comedian. She enjoyed it so much that one year on, she embarked on a career as a stand-up. She reached the finals of “So You Think You’re Funny” at the 2011 Edinburgh Fringe, the finals of the Piccadilly Comedy Club new act competition in 2012 and the Hackney Empire New Act of the Year in 2013. She has also appeared on 8 Out Of 10 Cats and The Alternative Comedy Experience.

“A great comic sensibility, with moments of sparkling verve”The Guardian

“Beautiful timing, perfectly pitched delivery and great gags to boot”The Scotsman

Dalia Malek

Chortle Student Comedy Award Finalist, winner of the Comedy Store’s Open Mic Competition 2013, and winner of the Comedy Café New Act Competition, Egyptian-American comic Dalia Malek is swiftly making a name for herself on the circuit.

James Farmer

A writer and comic, James has already acquired credits on some of the most successful comedy shows on television, including 8 Out of 10 Cats and Have I Got News for You. In 2013, he was a finalist in the Laughing Horse New Act Competition, and last year he supported Jimmy Carr on tour.

Compere Iszi Lawrence:

A seasoned performer, having appeared on stage at the Fringe since she was 17, Iszi became a full-time stand up in in 2008 and began appearing on the circuit regularly. She has headlined the most prestigious clubs in the UK, and has supported Stewart Lee, Sarah Millican, Rufus Hound, and Richard Herring, among a great many others. Her Edinburgh show “Iszi Lawrence’s Wotnot” was a sell-out, and she also produces the iTunes-featured podcast “The Z List Dead List”, about obscure people from history.
